While other common rooms may require a password to gain access to the common room. The Ravenclaw Tower is an exception. Students must answer a question given by a bronze eagle door knocker.
When the Gryffindors are not out and about around the castle or the grounds they can be found here, relaxing or celebrating. You must give the password to the portrait of the fat lady before entering.
A rather circular, noisy and drafty room. This plays home to dozens of the students own owls and several school owls for those that don't have one. Watch where you step though, there's owl droppings all over the place.
The room of requirement, also known as the come and go room is a special room that will transform into what ever the seeker needs. This room is unknown to the vast majority of the students in the school.
The top of the tower is used for observation sessions in Astronomy. Astronomy is the study of the stars. The students are often learning about the planets and the stars and sometime observing them at night through telescopes.
This room is reached by a ladder in a trapdoor in the ceiling. While Divinations is such an imprecise branch of magic, Hogwarts still teaches it to those who wish to learn.
